Lorinda (Lee) Bergeron, 61, of Lewis, died peacefully Wednesday, April 25, 2012, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 29, 1950, the daughter of the late Harry and Stella (Petro) Hickok.
Lee enjoyed her waitressing jobs, especially her many customers. After retiring, she loved spending her time with her cats and traveling with her husband, and her best friend, Sherry Campbell. She loved being surrounded by her two wonderful sons, Merk and Brian Brockwell, and all of her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Stella; and her nephew, Oliver Hickok II.
She is survived by her husband, Andre Bergeron of Lewis. They have shared their lives together since 1980. She also leaves behind two sons and a stepdaughter with their spouses, Merk and Teri Brockwell of Keeseville, Brian and Kim Brockwell of Newtown, Pa., and Sabrina and Brad Pratt and their son, Josh. Lee is also survived by her brother and his wife, Oliver and Linda Hickok of Moriah. She has many nieces, nephews and her friends that will miss her dearly.
There will be a wake from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 29, at W.M. Marvin's Sons, Court Street, Elizabethtown. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 30, at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the local S.P.C.A. of your choice.
