Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at Angier Baptist Church with burial to follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
She was a loving and devoted wife to her husband of 62 years, Rexwell Adams. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her five children, Susan Keenan and husband, Ed, Jane Dupree and husband, Roger, Rexwell Adams, Jr., Jill Lupton and husband Everette all of Angier and Scott Adams and wife, Luanne of Cary; loving Me-moma to seventeen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, sister Frances Karr and husband Wendell of Lenexa, KS; brothers Wiley Wilkerson and wife, Dot, and Billy Ray Wilkerson all of Angier.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by sisters, Doris W. Dupree, Shirley W. Watkins, daughter-in-law, Sherrie M. Adams, brothers, Willie and Harold Wilkerson.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday night 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier and at other times at the home.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but we are comforted in knowing that she is with her Lord and Savior where we will one day be reunited with her.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Angier Baptist Church Day Care, P. O. Box 130, Angier, NC 27501; where she was a teacher for many years or to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
