"The greatest thing in all my life is knowing you – Jesus." Bud fought the good fight and now he is in Heaven.
Aletta, his wife, is thankful to God for 71 years of marriage to Bud. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Ruth Bailey; sister, Helen Lamson; daughter-in-law, Patti; and granddaughter, Jennifer. He is survived by his children, Tom of Kentucky, Pam and Tom, Jim and Lori, Louann and Kathleen, Shelley and Mike, and Rose and Tracy. His ten grandchildren loved him and appreciated all of the time that he spent at their many scholastic, athletic, and artistic events. He did not miss many. He was so loved by each great-grandchild--all 13 of them.
Bud was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II. He retired from Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. with 42 years of service. Two of his favorite things were camping (especially with the Firestone Camping Club) and fishing in Canada. He played minor league baseball. Bud was an active member of Hope United Methodist Church and served the Lord with gladness.

"Absent from the body, and … present with the Lord."
