EUBANKS
Mary Evelyn Hobby Eubanks, 62, a lifelong resident of Lucedale, Miss., died Wednesday, March 2, 2005, in Hattiesburg, Miss. She was born on Sept. 2, 1942.
She was a beloved wife, loving mother, and a caring Maw-Maw. She was employed with the Lucedale Post Office for 28 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed baking, gardening, crocheting, collecting teddy-bears, watching wildlife, and watching Christian programs. She was a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Hobby, and her mother, Loren Margaruite Stinson Hobby.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Horace Randolph Eubanks; her six children, Horace Eubanks, Cindy (Don) Brewer, Debbie (Mike) Havard, Charlie Eubanks, Benny (Kathy) Eubanks, and Margaruite (Fadel) Ruiz; her 18 grandchildren, Brian Eubanks, Katie, Amy, and Casey Brewer, Josh and Tyler Havard, Austin and Cole Eubanks, Jordan, Heather, Jayden, Colleen, Hannah, Chloe and Seth Eubanks, Ashley, Jacob, and Nicole Ruiz. She is also survived by her father, Elvon Bruce Hobby, her sister, Faye Roberts, both of Warner Robbins, Ga., and her sister, Eleanor (Robley) Evans, from Wilmer, Ala.
She will be greatly missed and will always be in our hearts.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 6, 2005 from 6-9 p.m. at George County Funeral Home Chapel, Lucedale, Miss.
Funeral service will be Monday, March 7, 2005 at 1 p.m. at Rocky Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Eubanks will be placed in the church at 12 noon. Interment will be at Rocky Creek Cemetery. Mr. John Merck will be officiating.
