He was born in Washington state the son of Wade and Olive Alexander. He served his county in the Army in World War II. He was employed by the Colorado Springs City Utilities as head electrician until his retrement. He had a life long love of the outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping. When he passed away his ashes were sprinkled over the ocean at Newport, Oregon where he lived at the time.
