Homer G. Seiwell, 84, of 1732 Route 143, Lenhartsville, died Nov. 30 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was married to Jean B. (Bull) Seiwell.

He was a metallurgist for Bethlehem Steel Corp. for more than 40 years before retiring in 1984. Previously, he was a minor league outfielder for the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team.

Born in Hazleton, he was a son of the late Homer and Anna (Gicking) Seiwell.

He was a member of New Bethel Union Church, Albany Township, Berks County.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors: Wife; daughter, Barbara Cunningham of Powhatan, Va.; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

Services: memorial, noon Saturday in the church. Arrangements, Leibensperger Funeral Home, Hamburg.
