Albert served in the United States Army, was a member of the American Legion Post 100 and a member of S.N.M.D.M.P. #2 in Alameda.
Albert was preceded in death by his father, Hil Griego and two brothers, Marvin Griego and Florian Griego.
Albert is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Annette, his daughters, Angela Griego, Valerie García and her husband, Adrian García and Amanda Griego, seven grandchildren, Jenae Padilla, Mario Padilla, Justin Padilla, Ricky García, Aliyah García, Marcus Vigil and Marina Vigil, his mother, Martha Griego, brothers, Johnnie Griego and his wife, Helen, Orlando Griego, Alex Griego and David Griego and wife, Joyce, sister, Dolores Candelaria and her husband, Gilbert and other family members and friends who loved and will miss him.
Memorial Services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos NW. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, January 18, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 19, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery with full Military Honors. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Serna and Corporal Michael John Valdéz.
