Since our last Memorial services Death has been active in calling to rest a number of well known comrades F. E. P. Harrell went to rest in the 69th year of age. This good man was a native Texan, he, while young, professed Christianity and joined the Methodist church. When the war between the States became a terrible fact, comrade Harrell volunteered his service in behalf of home and native land; he was enrolled a member of Company D 13th Dismounted Cavalry, the well known Steven's Regiment.
