Kathryn Wheeler, 68, Bridgeport, Conn, died on December 19, 1981, at Bridgeport Hospital. She was born on May 6, 1913, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Flynn Joyce. She was married to Frederick Wheeler, who died in 1952. Mrs. Wheeler has resided in Bridgeport for 40 years. Mrs. Wheeler is survived by three sons, Robert E. Wheeler, of Newtown, David A. Wheeler, of Woodbridge, Conn, and Fred Wheeler, of Bridgeport, Conn; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Van Ryn, of Naugatuck, Conn, and Mrs Deloris Serra, of Orange, Conn; one brother, Mayor Eugene Joyce, of Pawling; two sisters, Mrs. Eileen Kelly and Mrs. Veronica Weisel, both of Pawling; 16 grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
