Thomas. E. Joyce, 65, Dover Plains, died October 20, at his home. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II and received the Purple Heart for injuries suffered at Gaudalcanal. Born April 3, 1916, he was the son of Thomas and Mary Flynn Joyce. He was married to the former Jane Reidy. She survives, as do four sons, Thomas Joyce of the U.S. Army in Germany, Daniel Joyce of the U.S. Navy in San Francisco, and William and Patrick Joyce, both of Wingdale; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Underhill, Ellen and
Patricia Joyce, all of Wingdale; a brother, Village of Pawling Mayor Eugene Joyce; three sisters, Mrs. Katherine Wheeler of Bridgeport, Conn., and Mrs. Eileen Kelly and Mrs. Veronica Weisel, of Pawling; and four grandchildren.
