She is the dear mother and mother-in-law of Dorothy Rae and Wes Blocker and Mike and Kay Boggs, all of Deer Park, and Carolyn Fae Beecher of Oregon City, Oregon. Her brother, Herman Zibell, resides in Spokane, and her sister, Luella Stevens, lives in Deer Park.
Mrs. Boggs is preceded in death by her husband, Fred R. Boggs, in 1969, a sister, Elsie Williams, her son-in-law, Ted Beecher, and a great-granddaughter, Anne Marie Boggs.
Born in 1917 at Chewelah, Washington, Mrs. Boggs attended Deer Park Grade School and High School.
She is a member of the Faith Lutheran Church, 50 year member and Past Matron of Bethlehem Chapter 87, Order of Eastern Star, 50 year member of the Gradenspot Grange, all in Deer Park, and a former member of the Women of the Moose at Loon Lake.
Funeral services honoring Mrs. Boggs will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 10, 2010, in Deer Park at the Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Duane Anderson officiating.
Following the interment service at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Deer Park, there will be a reception for all family and friends at the church.
Mrs. Boggs' family suggest memorial contributions to Scottish Rite Language Center, W. 1108 Riverside Ave., Spokane, WA, 99201, the American Cancer Society or American Heart Assoc.
