Eugene Shaw Aldridge, 50, of 522 West 17th Street, died at 9:42 pm, Wednesday at the Veteran's Administration Hospital, Nashville, TN, after a long illness.
Memorial services will be at 4pm Saturday at Sinking Fork Christian Church with the Rev. Hayes officiating. There will be no visitation.
A native of Webster County, he was born Feb. 9, 1937, the son of Wilma Bannister, Gracey, and the late John Thomas Aldridge. A Methodist, he was a retired electrician and had served in the National Guard reserves.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Freida Aldridge, Gracey; and a sister, Sue Heflin, Gracey.
