CHERRYFIELD - Clyde Fisher Lamson, 89, died after a brief illness. Clyde was born the son of Coleman and Mary (Beal) Lamson. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force, 1941 to 1944. Clyde worked many years at the Underwood Factory in Jonesport where he was factory foreman. When the factory closed he moved to New Hampshire and worked at supermarket chains, retiring in 1986. He then moved back to Maine, the area he most enjoyed. He was predeceased by the love of his life of more than 50 years, Irene (Dobbins) Lamson and six siblings. Clyde is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Graveside services were held at Greenwood Cemetery in Jonsport.
