William J. 'Jack' Logan, 71, of 541 S. 82nd St., Chambers Hill, died Sunday in Western Maryland Medical Center, Hagerstown, Md.

He retired as a machinist from the former Reading Railroad and was a member of Chambers Hill United Methodist Church, Chambers Hill Lions Club and Steelton-Swatara F&AM Lodge 775.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn V. Holbert Logan; two sons, William J. Jr. of Anaconda, Mont., and Michael R. of Harrisburg; a daughter, Sharon A. Nestler of Hummelstown; two brothers, Paul Leroy of Carson City, Nev., and Herbert K. of Palmyra; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 8 p.m. Friday in Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Hummelstown.
Viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, 2040 Linglestown Road, Suite 106, Harrisburg 17110, or Western Maryland Medical Center, 1500 Pennsylvania Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
