Linda Sue Falder, 64, of 7102 S. America Road, Wabash, Indiana died Monday, June 7, 2004 at 9:55am at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born on May 2, 1940 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to Keith King and Eva (Lyons) King. She married Larrie L. Falder on June 11, 1961 in Colchester, Illinois.
She received her B.S. degree from Western Illinois University. She attened the Wabash Friends Church, was a member of Bible Study Fellowship, and the Wabash Country Club. She taught elementary school in Kewanee, Illinois, high school in Bardoff, Illinois, and college at Robert Morris College in Carthage, Illinois. She managed a fashion shop in Keokuk, Iowa, she was activities director at Shangri-La Manor of LaFontaine, and operated the Good News Club, an after-school program in LaFontaine. She was an organ donor.
She is survived by her husband, Larrie L. Falder of Wabash; two sons, Michael (Traci) Falder of Alma, Michigan, and Alexander (Tricia) Falder of Sewickley, Pennsylvania; grandson, Jonah Michael Falder of Alma, Michigan; and sister, Donna (Jerry) Patterson of Seymour, Indiana.
Funeral services will be at Wabash Friends Church on Friday, June 11, 2004 at 10:30am. David Phillips will officiate. Visitation will be 5-8pm, Thursday, June 10 at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Manchester Avenue Chapel. Burial will be at LaFontaine I.O.O.F. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Youth for Christ, PO Box 757, Alma, Michigan. 48801.
