Word was received over the wire yesterday afternoon telling W. H. Bartle of the death of his mother, Mrs. W. J. Bartle, who was making her home with another son, at Centralia, Virginia. Mrs. Bartle was 77 years old. She had often been at the home of her son in Altoona and knew many friends here. Funeral services will be at Centralia, but the body will be brought to Altoona and the last service with be here, with interment in Fairview cemetery. Time will be announced later.
