DEATH OF GEORGE GREINE
OTTUMWA MAN SUCCUMBS TO CONSUMPTION THIS MORNING

The death of George Greiner occured this morning at 1:30 'Clock at the hospital North of the city.

The immediate cause of death was consmuption and the deceased was forty eight years of age. The funeral will be held soon as the decendants brother Leroy Greiner arrives from Denver, Clorado. The remains are now at the undertaking establishment of J.W. McIntire and Company.

Aug 4th
The funeral of the late George Greiner whose death occured Saturday morning was held this morning at McIntire and Company Undertaking service and will be conducted at the grave at Ottumwa Cemetery. Pastor of the First Methodist Church; by Rev. A.E. Craig. Leroy Greiner of Denver; a brother of the deceased was in the city for the purpose of attending the funeral.
