PERCY, Karen S. Deppe, 61, of Percy, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at De Gresse Hospice House in St. Louis, Missouri.

She was born February 21, 1951 in Chester, Illinois the daughter of Everett Dierks and Nedra A. (Westerman) Dierks.

Karen married Steven A. Deppe in August 8, 1973 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, IL.

She is survived by her: husband: Steven of Percy, IL; 2 brothers: Larry and Deborah, Steeleville, IL, Michael and Sue, Steeleville, IL; Nephews.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents.

She was a homemaker in her home and also a member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church of Campbell Hill, IL., Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and was a gift shop worker, St. Peter Quilter and Ladies Aid and the Percy Red Hatters Club.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, April 23, 2012 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, IL.

Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville, IL.

Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Sunday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and then on Monday from 7:30 am to 9am and then at the church from 10 to 11am.
