Graveside services were held Tuesday, November 27, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Larry Crumpton, Pastor of First United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery, in Seymour.
Mrs. Shawver was born January 10, 1910 in Baylor County, Texas to Thomas Eugene Fancher and Sarah Louise Bingham Fancher. She and Lawrence Zerold Shawver were married December 24, 1927. He preceded her in death in 1967. She was also preceded in death by a son, Lawrence Carl Shawver in 1996. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Church in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Sue Nichols of Grove, Oklahoma and Dorothy Ann Wooldridge of Montgomery, Texas; one son, Worth James "Jim" Shawver of Dallas, Texas; three sisters, Peggy Ford of Seymour, Texas, Loyd Clark of Red Springs, Texas and Emma Gene Conner of Lipan, Texas; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren
