Clarence Bentley Eure Jr., 57, of the 200 block of Winchester Drive, died Monday, April 7, 2003.
Mr. Eure was born in Gates County and was the son of the late Clarence Bentley Eure Sr. Employed at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, he was a member of Winton Baptist Church.
Surviving are his mother, Edith Mildred Eure of Washington; three daughters, Tammy Eure Perry and husband Steven Sr. of Eure, Debra Eure Smith and husband Tracy of Gates, and Penny Eure Evans and husband Jerry of Sevierville, Tenn.; a sister, Brenda Eure Lassiter and husband Buck of Washington; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Cool Spring Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Bob Skeens. Friends may join the family Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, and other times at the home of Tammy and Steven Perry, 1230 NC 137, Eure. Edition: FINAL
