Arthur Herman Karl Adam, 94, 153 W. Park Street, Gillett, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, in Oconto Falls. The son of the late Fred and Ella (Zahn) Adam was born Feb. 7, 1918, in the town of Gillett. He was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the town of Gillett. He married Adeilia (Della) Rode on Sept. 14, 1940 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the town of Gillett. She preceded him in death on Dec. 28, 1985. He worked at Kohler Foundry in Sheboygan, then he farmed in Suring. He moved to Neenah and worked at Neenah Construction. He returned to Gillett and worked 17 years at Wagner LP Gas and Electric as a serviceman, then he worked as personnel manager at the former Friday Canning Company for 19 years retiring at age 65. He is a member of Faith United Ev. Lutheran Church. He was active in his church and enjoyed deer hunting with his family, fishing, camping, following the Brewers, and enjoyed traveling across the United States.
