Ruth's family and her church were very important to her. She also enjoyed reading. She was always involved with kids whether through work or church. Ruth used to sew costumes for the kids in the neighborhood. She was generous, very caring, and strong willed that was the back bone of the family. Ruth was an amazing woman.
Survivors include her children, Barbara Taylor, A.C. Combs and his wife, Ruby, Margaret Barnes and her husband, Mike, Ronnie Osgood and his wife, Terri, and Kenneth Osgood and his wife, Kim, Kevin Osgood and his wife, Donna, Janet Osgood; step-daughters, Nancy Padilla and her husband, Blas and Jo Jackson; twenty-nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and sisters, Irene Brantley, Sue Casheros and Winnie Harrell.
