Stechly Robert "Bob" -(Manufacturing Manager 25 years with Chrysler Etobicoke Casting Plant) It is with deep sadness the we announce the sudden passing of Bob on Monday April 9, 2012. Bob beloved husband of Julie. Devoted dad of Dave, Josh, and Steve. Loving son of Joe and Mary and father-in-law of Ron and the late Jessie Briettell of Suffolk, England. Loving big brother of Diane and her husband Chris Hoover, Debbie, and Sharon and her husband Rob Gollanek. Special uncle to Samantha and Dylan Hoover and Emma Gollanek. Dear nephew of Helen Ackerman, Jane Stechly, Ed Stechly (Valerie), Rick Stechly (Lisa), Krys Curtis (Steve), Irene, Nina, Genia, and Ida. Special brother-in-law of Michael (Louise). Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Aaron (Stacie), Danny, Liam, Megan, and many loving cousins. Long time hockey coach and coach of the year in Georgetown minor hockey association, and respected manager and long time employee of the Etobicoke Chrysler casting plant. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 12, 2012 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Glen Oaks Memorial Chapel and Reception Centre, 3164 Ninth Line ( 403 hwy and Dundas St.) Oakville. Funeral Service will take place in the Glen Oaks Chapel at 12:30 pm on Friday April 13, 2012. A private family interment to follow. The family would appreciate donations in Bob's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
