Eva was born June 26, 1953, in Lodi, the daughter of the late Milton and Marie (Long) Blough, Sr. She made her home in the Creston/Seville area all of her life. She enjoyed listening to music and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are children, Timothy Jay (Peggy) Hatten Jr. of Grafton, Steven Allen (Michelle) Hatten of Litchfield, Eric Shawn (Shayna) Hatten of Rittman, Holly Marie Hatten of Seville and Philip D. (Stephanie) Hatten of Creston; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, James (Donna) Blough of Wadsworth; sisters, Virginia Boggs, of Seville, Donna (Gabe) Kast of Wadsworth, Mary (Scott) Stachler of Creston and Sharyn Blough of Seville; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Blough of Wooster; nieces, Tammy Boggs, Jennifer and Nicole Blough and Heather Yannayon; and a nephew, Lance Simpson. She was preceded in death by brothers, Milton "June", Donald, Clayton and Bruce Blough.
Memorial services will be Monday at 7:00 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Creston with Gary Tomazic officiating. (330) 435-6670
P.S. A survivor mentioned above as Eva's "niece, Tammy Boggs", was actually her daughter. Born when Eva was a teenager, Tammy was adopted by Eva's sister, Virginia, and her husband, Richard Boggs.
