Notes for Mathias Bernard Schommer:
-Mathias lived in Mexico for a number of years, and his sister Louisa reported that he disappeared on a trip to Central America and was never heard from again. However, in his mother's obituary dated July 8, 1957, states that he was alive at that time was living in San Francisco. Social Security records and California death records indicate that he was married and died in California on May 27, 1968.

Mathias (Mike) Schommer, husband of Mary Schommer of Lucerne passed away May 27. He was born June 16, 1897.

Graveside services were held May 29 at Upper Lake Cemetery with St. Mary's Catholic Church officiating. Services were under direction of Chapel of the Lakes Mortuary.
