Louis B. Farvour, 73, Former Ripon Court Clerk, Dies.
RIPON — A clerk of Ripon Municipal Court for many years until Branch 3 County Court was
established. Louis B Farvour, 73, 932 Woodside Ave. Ripon, died at 5:30 a.m. today at Ripon
Municipal Hospital following a short illness.

The son of Frank P. and Frances Janes Farvour was born in Ripon Oct. 23. 1891, spent his
entire lifetime in the city. He graduated from Ripon College in 1916 and was founder of Farvour
Insurance Agency now opcrated by his son. Mr. Farvour served as justice of the peace for many years and was a World War I veteran. He was a member of the Brown-Parfitt American Legion Post and a charter member of Ripon Kiwanis Club.

Surviving are his widow; son Franklin, Ripon. and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Butzin Funeral Home, the Rev. Harris T. Hall, pastor of St. Peter Episcopal Church, officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.

Farvour, who served 23 years as clerk of Ripon Municipal Court.
