GENEVA — Nell D. Allds, age 78, of Ashtabula Township, died Saturday, April 14th, at Geneva Village Retirement Center in Geneva, Ohio.

She was born Nov. 3, 1933, in Oldtown, Ky., the daughter of Jess and Hattie (McDowell) Boggs and had been an Ashtabula resident since 1950. She was a 1952 graduate of Ashtabula High School.

She was a Bookkeeper/ Office Manager for Callahan Motors and also for Morrison Radio and Supply.

She was a member of the Ashtabula Business Women's Association and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary #1463, where she served in all the local offices and she had served as President of the Ohio State Eagles Auxiliary. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving her is a son, William R. (Annette) Allds of Ashtabula; two daughters, Kimberly (Jose) Aponte of Ashtabula and Michelle Allds-Hinkle of Newark, Ohio; six grandchildren, Jamie, Brian, Jessica, Renee, Timothy and Amanda; three great-grandchildren, Ricky, Ohona and Marinah; a sister, Eileen Hall of Indiana; and a half-brother, Michael Boggs of South Shore, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William W. Allds in 1998; two brothers, Robert and James Boggs; three sisters, Alphonsine McDaniel, Phoebe Castle and Faye Adams; and a step-brother, French Cline Hall.

Funeral Service will be 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 17th, at the Ashtabula Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 526 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula, with the Rev. Roger Zale officiating. Burial will take place at Ridgeview Cemetery.

Calling hour will be from 7 p.m. until time of Service, Tuesday, at the Funeral Home.
