LOCKPORT — Loraine D. Bars, of Lockport, NY, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2012. Born on December 12, 1922 in the Town of Cambria, she was the daughter of Melvin and Doris Roberts Brewer. She was a homemaker and farmer's wife.
Mrs. Bars was predeceased by her husband, John Bars, Jr.; her son, James A. Bars and two grandchildren, Jonathan Bars and Angela Sevenski. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Valley; grandchildren, Michael (Darlene) Valley, Michele (Kurt) Johnson, James (Karen) Bars and Jennifer Bars; 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren.
Friends may call on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Lange Funeral Home, Inc., 186 East Ave., Lockport, NY, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM. Interment in North Ridge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc.
