Harold Ray Thomas, Sr. 83, Sand Springs, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord Saturday, April 14, 2012.

Harold was born in Hominy, Oklahoma, on January 13, 1929, to Audie Ray Thomas and Myrtle Mae (Bray) Thomas. Having to quit school at an early age to help provide for his family, Harold worked mostly as a laborer in construction. Helping take care of his family and spending time with them was a priority to Harold. He loved to watch television, especially Archie Bunker. Many of his friends told him that he favored Archie in appearance. Harold's great smile and wonderful sense of humor will be missed by family and friends.

Preceding Harold in death was his parents Audie and Myrtle Thomas; daughter Barbara Thomas; sisters Ruth, Dorothy, Mary, and Esther; and brother Jack.

Harold is survived by his son Harold Ray Thomas, Jr. of Tulsa, Oklahoma; niece Susan Marshall of Tulsa; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
