James R. Cox Sr., 71, of Port Republic passed away Wednesday at AtlantiCare.
He was the owner of JC & Son and was recently employed at Ace Hardware in Galloway. He was a Boy Scout leader, member of the Absecon Jaycees and the Galloway Lions.
Surviving are his wife Phyllis; his children Christina Ramos, James R. Jr., Dawn Carty (Steve), Nina Mayho, Phyllis Pitale (Lou); 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and his niece Karen Sharpe.
Service at Wimberg Funeral Home 211 E. Great Creek Road, Galloway, New Jersey. Burial will follow at Port Republic Cemetery.
