FORT WORTH -- Nadine Boone, our mother, grandmother and aunt, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2003. She continues to be at peace.

Funeral: A service in remembrance of Nadine's life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at John Knox Presbyterian Church. Graveside services were held Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City.

Memorials: For those who wish, memorials may be made to John Knox Presbyterian Church, the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Association.

Nadine was born Elsie Nadine Morrison in Sherman on June 8, 1909, and spent the early years of her life in Oklahoma, where she attended the University of Oklahoma. She was married to Milton Hyde Boone in June of 1929, and they lived in Oklahoma City until moving to Fort Worth in 1946. Nadine was a charter member and Elder of John Knox Presbyterian Church, which she loved and served throughout her life. She was also very active in the growth of the Castleberry Independent School District and was recognized with a life membership in the P.T.A. for her efforts during the critical period of establishing Castleberry High School. Mr. and Mrs. Boone were active in the Fort Worth Camellia Society, where he was a past president.
