Anthony Was one of four Sons of Peter Gorham of Clifden and Ann Gorham of Roundstone Ireland. In 1886 his father Peter died in a coal mining accident (Glenn Alden). Peter was brought home on a door and left in the family parlor. The boys had to go to work for the mine in order to help support the family. I was told that Anthony suffered from Black Lung and T.B. The boys headed west ward to South Dakota to mine. Anthony's siblings are Annie Gorham never married; Daniel Gorham; Patrick Gorham; Thomas Gorham and Sarah (Sadie) Gorham. His Grandparents Thomas and Ann Gorham lived with their daughter and her family Sarah Connelly in Ashley PA - Right next to Peter and Ann's home.
