Elverta Ullea (Williams) Berberich, 76, of Papillion, NE., died Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Josie Harper Hospice House, Omaha, NE.

Elverta was born October 27, 1935 in Vincennes, Indiana to Virgil Bryan Williams and Mary Gertrude (Nelson) Williams.

Elverta was born in Vincennes, IN, raised & schooled in Browns, IL, attended and graduated from Edwards County High School in 1953, met and married John, as John was in US Air Force they had lived in several different locations, but settled in Plattsmouth in 1971. Elverta was a stay at home Mother and homemaker, but when their children were in school, she worked at Ruback's Grocery Store for 10 years. Elverta and her family lived at Plattsmouth, but with failing health, she moved to Bellevue in 2006.

She was a member of the Parish Council of Catholic Women.

Elverta is preceded in death by her parents: Virgil & Mary Williams; Husband: John Joseph Berberich Jr., Sister: Shirley Keepes; Brother: Buford Williams, and infant son: Bradley Joseph.

She is survived by one son: Anthony Berberich & wife Gail of Castle Rock, CO; three daughters: Debra Little & husband Will of Papillion, NE; Cynthia Nebrigich of Millard, NE; Brenda Cheney & husband Bill of Fairfax Station, VA; eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was Tuesday, March 20, 2012 from 6-7 p.m. with family present at Church of the Holy Spirit. Rosary Service followed by Vigil at 7 p.m. at Church of the Holy Spirit.

Funeral Mass was Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Holy Spirit with Father Dhanraj Marneni officiating, Will Little as lector, Tony Salazar as acolyte, and Terry Little providing comfort in music.

Final resting place Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Plattsmouth, NE.
