She was born on October 5, 1947 in Hot Springs, the daughter of Harlis Ambry Mahan and Zelma "Dutch" Rowell Mahan. On June 9, 1973, she was married to Loyd Billings. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Jeanne was a lifelong Pearcy resident. She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Loyd Billings of Pearcy; her son, Bradley Wayne Billings of Pearcy; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Clyde "Mickey" and Dorothy Mahan of Sunshine and Rickey and Rosemary Mahan of Pearcy; three nephews, Michael Mahan of Hot Springs, Randy Mahan of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Kevin Mahan of Bonnerdale; two aunts and two uncles, Harl and Bonnie Rowell and Dorothy and Bill Tomberlin, all of Hot Springs; and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 13, 2012 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs with Bro. Ronnie Noles officiating.
Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday evening.
Pallbearers will be Michael Mahan, Buddy Tate, Bill Rowell, Kevin Mahan, Ken Walters, Jeff Hunter and Rex Rowell.
The family would like thank Pam Vincent and Debbie Garner for their special friendship to Jeanne.
