Mrs. Dolly Leatherman, 86, of 209 Columbine Court, died Saturday at Poudre Valley Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of James M. and Anna E. McIndoo and was the last of a family of 10 children. She attended Sheep Draw School near Greeley. She was first married to Arthur O. Curtis Nov. 14, 1900. She moved to North Park in 1909 and worked at the Gresham Hotel, then later at the Curtis Hotel at Walden. She was married to William Bailey Leatherman Feb. 24, 1918. They operated the Curtis Ranch between Walden and Rand for a short time, then bought the Rand Hotel in 1920 which operated until 1964. Mr. Leatherman died in June of 1960. Among survivors are four sons, Delbert Leatherman of Walden, Lloyd Leatherman of Fort Collins, E. Dean Curtis of Loveland and Glenn M. Curtis of Commerce City; five grandchildren and a number of other relatives. The service will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at North Park Community Church at Walden. Burial will be in Rand Cemetery. Howard's Park Avenue Chapel in Denver is in charge of arrangements.
