DEEPSTEP, Ga. - Mr. A. Felson Andrews, age 91, of Deepstep, died Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at the Washington County Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 20th at 11:00am. with burial in Washington County Memorial Gardens. Rev. Griffin Thompson and Rev. Bruce Vaughn will officiate. Pallbearers will be Travis Andrews, John David Carpenter, Mike Abbott, Daryle Lanier, Chris Palmer, Ric Aikman and Brandon Lindsey.
Mr. Andrews was born in Washington County the son of the late John Robert Andrews and the late Lola Belle Veal Andrews. He is predeceased by two sisters Caroll Ramsey and Eloise Pearce.
Survivors are his wife of 69 years Mrs. Mary Pearce Andrews of Deepstep; children, Pierce Andrews (Joyce) of Conyers, Phyllis A. Carpenter (John), Uldena A. Denton (Albert), and Allen Andrews (Kyla) all of Deepstep; nine grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; brothers, James H. Andrews of Deepstep and Robert Andrews (Shirley) of Hamilton OH., and a sister Betty A. Welch (Donald) of Augusta.
