He passed away after cardiac arrest. He was a member of Insulators Local 53 and was a native of Whitehall.
Survived by his companion and her two sons; his two sons and a daughter-in-law; one granddaughter; father and step-mother; three sisters and brothers-in-law; one brother; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Blankenship; brother, Francis Glenn Blankenship Jr; and grandparents, Numa and Ozea Fontenot, and Bessie and Bill Blankenship. Funeral service was held at St Stephen's Catholic Church, Whitehall, on Saturday, September 19 2009.
