Anna Bohnsack , 87, passed away Monday, Sept. 24, 2007, at Lena Living Center.
She was born on Oct. 1, 1919, to John and Stella Bloch in Dubuque, Iowa. Anna married Vernon Bohnsack in June 1944.
She and her husband farmed their entire life in the Lena and Waddams Grove area.
Mrs. Bohnsack was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lena.
Anna enjoyed gardening, flower decorating, bingo, cards and was a fan of the Chicago Cubs.
She was preceded by her husband Vernon, two sons; Richard and Robert; one sister, Jean; and one brother, Charles.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lena. Father Stephen Folorunso will officiate. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Leamon Funeral home in Lena, with a Scripture service at 4 p.m.
