Earlwin was a carpenter and laborer and enjoyed working outdoors and working on his projects. In retirement Earlwin enjoyed having coffee with his friends, quiet times at home and visiting with family.
Earlwin liked to play card games and loved a good game of whist. He had sense of humor that he shared with friends and family. He was always a dog owner and cared for his pets like children. Earlwin loved to cook and had specialty items that people requested. Earlwin was a master in making dried corn and harvesting native herbs which he shared with family.
Earlwin died on Sunday February 26, 2012 at home.
Earlwin is survived by his sister Mary Wilson of Sisseton, S.D. and daughter Theresa Wilson of Norman, Oklahoma. Granddaughter DeNitra White of Browns Valley, Minnesota, Grandson Damon White of Veblen, S.D. and five great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and his friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Grace, parents, brothers Frank Wilson, Smiley Holmes, Homer Shields and Clifford Wilson, Sisters Ellen Bonnell, Virginia Chanku and Freida Conklin.
