She was born Feb. 12, 1911 in Laneville to Will Loftis and Ollie Henry. She attended Rusk County public schools and spent all of her life in Laneville. She was a presser, a member of Anadarko Christian Church and member of the Heroine of Jericho Choice Court No. 379 in Laneville.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Versie Brantley; six sisters; five brothers.
She is survived by one son, Wille James and Melba Brantley, Dallas; one sister, Bennie James, Dallas; one sister-inlaw, Fannie Loftis, Dallas; one son-in-law, H.T. Williams, Dallas; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
