Services for Lurenia Brantley, 94, Laneville, will be 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005 at Anadarko Christian Church in Laneville with Elders Robert Loftis and Nathaniel Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Anadarko Cemetery in Laneville under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Henderson. Mrs. Brantley died Oct. 27, 2005 at Charlton Methodist Hospital in Dallas.

She was born Feb. 12, 1911 in Laneville to Will Loftis and Ollie Henry. She attended Rusk County public schools and spent all of her life in Laneville. She was a presser, a member of Anadarko Christian Church and member of the Heroine of Jericho Choice Court No. 379 in Laneville.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Versie Brantley; six sisters; five brothers.

She is survived by one son, Wille James and Melba Brantley, Dallas; one sister, Bennie James, Dallas; one sister-inlaw, Fannie Loftis, Dallas; one son-in-law, H.T. Williams, Dallas; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
