Margaret W. Angster, 79, died June 15, 2001 in Gig Harbor. She was born in Huddersfield, England and served as a 1st Lieutenant in the British Army during WWII, where she met and married her husband, Robert Angster. They spent many years travelling with the military and finally retired in Gig Harbor in 1996. Margaret was a loving mother, an avid gardener, an active community member, a member of Chapel Hill Church, and a friend to all. She will be greatly missed by family and friends around the world. She is survived by son Bob Angster of Shelton; daughter Patty Tenzler and son-in-law Doug of Gig Harbor; grandchildren Rob and Dan Angster and Justin and Amanda Tenzler; and sister Muriel Davies of England. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 23, 2001 at 2:00 PM at Chapel Hill Church in Gig Harbor. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 1551 Broadway, Tacoma, WA 98402. Arrangements by Haven of Rest.
