Hallie Marie Brown Bennett, 84, passed away Monday, April 2, 2012, at the Clifton Sunset Home in Clifton, Texas. Funeral service will be 9:30 a.m. Monday, April 9, at the Laguna Park Church of Christ, 7136 Hwy 56, in Laguna Park, with burial following at 2:30 p.m. in the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas County. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 8, at the Clifton Funeral Home.
Hallie Marie was born in Shallowater, Texas, to the late Tom and Gladys Brown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Bennett; brothers, Tommy, Leonard, and Ira Brown; and sisters, Bonnie Blackstone, Opal Hair, and Irene Pederson.
Survivors include her daughters, Kitsy Spitzer and husband, Richard, of Clifton, and Carol Goode and husband, Zandy, of Lorena; sons, Jay Bennett and wife, Cathy, of Houston, and Robert Bennett and wife, Caroline, of Clifton; ten grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; twin brother, Herman Brown; sisters, Nell Coats, Berta Abbe, and Minnie Mae Fulton; and many other family members and friends.
