Uncle Jim and Aunt Verna lived in Boydsville. Not everyone thought that was a good place to live because it was so dark. People were fearful of the area. Some relatives thought that the family was stuck out there, however, Jim and Verna insisted that they were not stuck because that is where they wanted to be.
