Frances Mars, daughter of John A. Mars and the former Miss Martha Eleanor Willis, was born on February 26th 1839. Known as Fanny by her family, she was the eldest daughter of thirteen children.

Fanny was married to L. Anderson, but not much is known about Mr. Anderson.

Fanny Mars Anderson departed this life on the 20th of September 1864 at the young age of 25. Fanny was laid to rest in the Mars family cemetery near her brothers, who preceded her to the grave.
