Poughkeepsie, NY,after a long illness.
He had been a ticket agent with Metro
North Railroad.He was a veteran of
US Air Force service.He was a menber
of the Holmes United Methodist Church.
Born in Brewster, Dec. 4,1938 he was
the son of the late Clarence Yerks
and Frances Larkin Yerks., who survives
in Patterson, NY
He married Edna Sprague, June 2 1956
in Patterson.He is survived by son
Edward V of Wingdale, NY.Two daughters
Melanie Barrett of Holmes, and Mary
Purdy of Wingdale, NY.two brothers,
Clarence of Patterson,Douglas of Dover.
five grandchildren and several nieces
and nephews.
Service were held Monday at Dwyer Funeral
Home, burial at Maple Ave. Cemetery, Patterson.
