SULLIVAN - Trinidad Arechiga, 83, died Sunday, March 25, 2012 at Mission Regional Hospital in Mission. Ms. Arechiga was born to Alberto Tijerina and Teresa Cantu on April 19, 1928 in China, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
Ms. Arechiga is survived by her children; daughter; San Juanita Llamas, sons; Alberto Armando Arechiga and Guadalupe Arechiga. She will be greatly missed by her 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings; sisters; Juanita Rios, Lucinda Garcia and brother, Alberto Tijerina.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 26, 2012 from 2 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. at The Lord & I Memorial Chapel in Peñitas. Funeral Mass was held, March 27, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Sullivan. Interment followed at La Havana Cemetery in La Havana, TX.
