Amy Turner

MILES CITY, MT. ---- Amy Turner, who homesteaded on Sweeney Creek with her husband and then ranched in the Hathaway area, moved to Miles City in 1960.

She died at age 80 Sunday in Holy Rosary Hospital.

Mrs. Turner was a member of Eagles Auxiliary.

Born in Pocahontas, Iowa, a daughter of David and Elmira Baldridge.

She came to Rosebud County in 1926 and that year married Frank turner
in Forsyth.
Her husband died in 1952.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Albert (Mary Jean) Woods of Hathaway, MT.; two sons, David of Rosebud, MT. and Thad of Libby, MT.; two brothers,
Lyle Baldridge of Yakima, WA., and Harry Baldridge Stockton, CA.; three sisters, Hattie Wilson of Jackson, MN., Stella Johnson of Pocahontas, IA., and
Helen Bogenrief of Willmar, MN., 15 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in First Presbyterian Church.

Burial will be in Custer County Cemetery, Miles City, MT.

J.E. Graves Funeral Chapel in charge.
