Georgia Rose Binderim, 80, of Perry, Oklahoma, was the daughter of Nelson I. and Clara M. (Schmidt) Smith. She was born on November 19, 1931 in Zenda, Kansas and died Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Perry Memorial Hospital.
She graduated from Valley Center High School in 1949. Georgia had been a resident of Perry, Oklahoma for twenty-two years. She was a member of the Church of the Resurrection in Wichita, Kansas.
She enjoyed playing dominos, reading, ceramics and antiques but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Georgia will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother by all that knew her.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012 at the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel in Perry, Oklahoma. Father Dan Letourneau will officiate. Interment will be at Grace Hill Cemetery, Perry, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society in care of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077.
Georgia was survived by one son, Eric Binderim of Jacksonville, Florida; one daughter, Trisha Bazzell of Perry, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Angela Drake Broadrick and Aaron Drake both of Wichita, Kansas, Lacy Bazzell Dvoracek of Norman, Oklahoma, Brittany Bazzell of Perry, Oklahoma, Erika Rose Binderim Haydu and Corey Binderim both of Jacksonville, Florida; seven great grandchildren, Cindy Broadrick and Drake Broadrick of Wichita, Kansas, Jaxson Dvoracek of Norman, Oklahoma Sadie Mack, Bindy Haydu, Bailey Binderim and Megan Binderim all of Jacksonville, Florida; one brother, James Smith.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cindy Binderim Drake; two brothers, Robert Smith and Michael Smith.
