Mr. Douglas Lee Denton, age 33, years old, of Gautier, Miss., passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2006, at 3:47 p.m. at his residence. He was born on May 13, 1973, in Pascagoula, Miss.

Doug was an adoring husband and father who was loved by many. Those who knew him best knew that he had many hobbies including hunting and fishing, playing Play Station-2, and watching WWE. But his favorite was spending time with his family. His children adored him and looked forward to spending time with him.

Everyone who knew Doug was better for having met him. The angels in heaven are welcoming one of their own home. He will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his father, Douglas Denton; paternal grandfather, Robert Denton; maternal grandfather, Preston Crosslin; and his maternal grandmother, Bonnie McMullen.

Douglas is survived by his wife, Christina, daughter, Alexis Marie, and son, Justin Michael, all of Gautier; mother, Sara B. (Walter) of Gautier; two sisters, Erika (Glenn) of Norman, Okla., and Tara of Gautier; paternal grandmother, Nora B. Elmore of Pascagoula; nieces, Dominique of Norman, Okla., and Madison of Gautier; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of Coastal Funeral Home, Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006, at 2 p.m., with Brother David Watson of Liberty Assembly of God Church in Gautier, Miss., officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow in Serene Memorial Gardens. Coastal Funeral Home and Cremations

Serving as pallbearers will be: Matt Prentice, James "Jimbo" Thibault, Pat Thibault, Shannon Tutor, Trace Weir, and Sherwood Beckham.
