Barbara Broyles passed away on January 3, 2012. She is survived by her parents Jack and Marge Broyles, her sister Janet (Doug) Ohlson and her children Paul Felesina and Katie Felesina.
Barbara was born in Marysville, Calif., on November 9, 1949. She moved to Nevada with her family when she was six years old. She earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1971 and continued on to earn her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1987. During her career, she worked as a registered nurse for Washoe Medical Center and St. Maryis Hospital and as a school nurse for Jacks Valley Elementary.

Barbara was a woman of faith who laughed easily despite all the challenges life presented to her. There will be a private graveside service held in Chico, Calif. on January 10, 2012. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at 2440 South Sepulveda Blvd, Suite 115, Los Angeles, CA 90064.
